Sustainable Development Program – SSDP |

Instituto Brasil Solidario multiplies its Social Technology in municipal
and state schools all over Brazil through the School Sustainable
Development Program in partnership with municipal educational administrators
and Companies. The involvement of professionals from Brasil in Solidarity
Institute in the development of the program points toward a development
of a methodology focused on improving the education quality in Brazil
by way of various actions aimed at sustainability.
The planning of activities involves operational
support to carry out actions that can be reproduced / reapplied
on any city and/or school. The systematic of works carried out at
SSDP is directly related to a joint work involving the Strategic
Alliances of IBS and the entitled community.
Volunteers and
professionals coming from diverse areas carry out an annual program
including three visits planned to promote complete works on the
educational, health, environment, theater, cinema, digital, cultural
and social inclusion areas.

| Sertoes’ Social Development Program |

Instituto Brasil
Solidario has worked with Sertoes International Rally since 2002,
a sports event organized by Dunas Race, by providing social work
and development in the cities that are part of the event’s
itinerary.
Hired staff and volunteers from different areas and cities closely support each stage of the competition within an annual schedule made up of three planned visits: one during the competition, to conduct complete work in education, health, environment and social, cultural and digital inclusion in one of the biggest initiatives connected to sports in the country.

| Books on the Road Project |

The project is the educational support of Instituto Brasil Solidario to the assembling of libraries and reading rooms, the professional training given to future facilitators, new literacy techniques and the use of books by students and teachers in the countryside of Brazil.
The program also provides schools and students with school material. They are given kits as a way of encouragement with 24 color pencil sets, notebooks, children’s books, rulers, multiplication tables and alphabet, magazine, eraser, pencil sharpener and pen.
Transparaná Solidário

It takes place during the RAID Transparana, which is a sports event that crosses the state of Parana from west to east. The aim of the project is to take free health assistance to the inhabitants of the cities and villages that are part of the race’s itinerary.
The actions take place on a previously scheduled day so that the local communities can benefit from preventive medical care, dental treatments, lectures and capacity building actions. Learn more about Transparana and its social actions at:

| Corporate and Special Projects - Trilha Brasil |

The institute also provides special projects to meet the needs of companies, teams and other institutes within one of the already consolidated working areas or a new proposal in the name of a financing agent and for the benefit of a specific audience.
Amongst these new proposals, we have a project called Trilha Brasil whose main objective is to travel around the most remote areas in Brazil in order to live with and document the real necessities of the people who live in those places and through this experience, think up new social actions and better adjust the current ones.

| Adventure and Action Project |

This project takes place with the expedition programs held by the magazine Aventura e Acao (Air Press Editora), whose main goal is to take educational and preventive actions to the places which are being visited. It promotes the integration of adventure sports with philanthropy and the results of the expedition are published in the magazine as well as information on culture, history and the human aspect of these locations.

Instituto Brasil Solidario supports the project Pedals on the Road by taking to the classroom the story of athlete Arthur Simões Cardoso Neto and his journey around the world on a bicycle. The outcome of this project becomes a topic of discussion and work in schools through the exchange of information, itinerary and themes and they’re used with students in complementary and extracurricular activities.
